Tier Requirements
Hello, this is Oklahoma Cannabis Business Attorney Jesse Kovacs with the OK Cannabis Law Office. Today we’re asking, what do I need to do to prove my tier when I’m submitting my license for renewal? And that depends on whether you’re a grower, a processor, or a dispensary, but really the underlying question is going to be about production volume.
So if you’re a grower, your tier is going to depend, first of all, if you’re an indoor or outdoor. If you’re an outdoor grower, it’s going to depend on your acreage, the acreage of your outdoor grow operation. If you’re an indoor, we’re talking square footage.
Evidence Required for Growers, Processors, and Dispensaries
For processors, it’s about how much you process. So we’re talking about pounds of biomass or liters of concentrate actually produced. When it comes to dispensaries, you’ll need to provide evidence of your previous 12 months tax records, both sales tax and state excise tax. Remember, it all comes down to production volume and the size of your operation.
