Different Tiers for OK MMJ Processor Applications
Hello, this is Oklahoma Cannabis Business Attorney Jesse Kovacs with the OK Cannabis Law Office. Today, we’re going to be talking about the different licensing tiers for processor applications. Now, if you’re a processor, your tier is going to depend on the amount of product you process, either measured in pounds of biomass or liters of concentrate.
Overview of Tier Structure and Application Fees
The first tier is going up to 10,000 pounds of biomass and up to 100 liters of concentrate with an application fee of $2,500. If you fall between 10,000 pounds and 50,000 pounds or between 101 and 350 liters of concentrate, you’re in the second tier with a $5,000 application fee.
Choosing the Right Tier for Your Processing Needs
If you are producing or processing between 50,001 pounds and 150,000 pounds of biomass or between 351 and 650 liters of concentrate, you’ll be in the third tier with a $10,000 application fee. Processing between 150,001 and 300,000 pounds of biomass or between 651 and 1,000 liters of concentrate puts you in the fourth tier with a $15,000 application fee. Lastly, tier 5 is for those processing more than 300,001 pounds of biomass or more than 1,001 liters of concentrate with a $20,000 application fee.
