Request for License Could Be Denied if Requirements Are Not Met
Video Transcribed: What are the perimeter requirements for medical marijuana businesses? I am Tulsa medical marijuana attorney Ope Adegbuyi.
According to the OMMA, dispensaries, grows and waste disposal facilities must provide proof that the nearest perimeter wall to the dispensary, grow, or waste disposal facility is not within 1000 feet of the property line of any public or private school.
Basically, the calculation is a straight line. So if you calculate with this straight line going from the perimeter wall of your dispensary or grow or waste facility to the property line of the school closest to the front door, you must not be within 1000 feet.
If you’re within that 1000 feet, then your OMMA license application will be denied and you would not receive a license with OMMA.
