Understanding OBNDD Revocation
I’m Tulsa medical marijuana attorney Katrina Lucas, here to talk to you about what to do if you’re facing an OBNDD revocation of your OBNDD registration. A registration for OBNDD is what allows you to process and hold, and be in the market with medical marijuana. It cannot exist without an OMMA license. So you must have the OMMA license first, and then you can have an OBNDD license. There are no operations of Oklahoma medical marijuana businesses without an OBNDD license.
Should you have found out that your OBNDD was revoked and you had missed it, or you were negligent in checking it, or you missed the date and didn’t renew, any of those things, you need to immediately report to OBNDD your mistake and ask to properly dispose of these items. This is not a situation where we get to keep your money. This is not a situation where we get to sell your products. If you’ve been properly reporting to Metric, they know what’s in stock, and they will not like it if you try to save it prior.
Immediate Actions to Take
If you hide it, if you do a false transfer, any of those things are criminal behaviors and will risk your ability to have any OMMA license in the future, and criminal prosecution. Please do not do those things. If you need advice on being told you’re going to lose your OBNDD or knowing you’ve lost a half product, please give me a call back at 918-932-2800. I know that this is a difficult time, but if we work together, we can probably fix your problem with a phone call to OBNDD, notification of the problem, and honesty going forward.

OBNDD does not want to remove your registration and does not want you to be acting out as a criminal. If you have done it negligently, then they can have some forgiveness, but it will take another attorney and your proper actions to be able to prove that to OBNDD.
