Locking Up for Security and Peace of Mind
Video Transcribed: What are the security requirements for medical marijuana grows? I am Ope Adegbuyi, a medical marijuana business attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
According to the OBN, there are five requirements for medical marijuana grows. In this video, I’ll be talking about the first requirement.
So the first requirement, according to the OBN, that’s the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, is that all in-process medical marijuana shall be returned to the storage area at the termination of the process. If the process is not terminated at the end of the workday, except where a continuous process or other normal manufacturing operations should not be interrupted, the processing area or tanks, vessels, bins, or bulk containers containing medical marijuana shall be securely locked with adequate security for the area or building. So basically, all medical marijuana products must be blocked in a container or adequately secure area or building.
