Video Transcribed: Oklahoma Attorney Isaiah N. Brydie, Esq. coming at you with another video, coronavirus edition. Now, all jokes aside, I pray that you and yours are well and safe and taken care of during this time.
Anyway, real quick question I got on the phone. I take phone calls all the time and stuff on a lot of different topics, and this one individual asked me if he is able to grow and then sell medical marijuana to a dispensary, or grow what have you with a patient license.
The short answer is no. The long answer is no, and the reason why is because per statute and OMMA regulations, no patient can divert medical marijuana that they’ve either purchased or grown to a unlawful source.
In this situation, dispensaries are only allowed to purchase product from other licensed businesses. Conversely also too, just like I said with the patients, they are not allowed to sell their product to any other individual, including a business as well. So that’s the short and long one, on that topic of whether or not you can sell to a medical marijuana business with a patient license.
