No Longer Need Medical Marijuana?
What happens if a physician determines that you are no longer in need of medical marijuana use?
If a physician determines the continued use of medical marijuana by a patient no longer meets the requirements set forth by the OMMA, the physician shall notify the OMMA and the license shall be immediately voided without right to an individual proceeding.
So this means that your use of your patient card is based on your medical doctor that prescribed you that medication. So once that doctor has said you’re no longer in need of the prescription, if you still have your license, then it will be immediate.
The physician would have to report to the OMMA that you’re not in use of that prescription anymore, in need of that prescription anymore, and then the OMMA would deactivate and void your right and you would not have any right to appeal the decision or go into any proceeding about that.
