What proof of residency do medical businesses need?
What Evidence Can Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Businesses Submit as Proof of Residency?
Medical marijuana businesses can submit, or the person of interest in the medical marijuana business can submit utility bills for each month for the last 24 months or a letter of credit for each month for the last 24 months. You can also submit your driver’s license.
However, your driver’s license must have been issued at least two years prior to the date of your application. You can also submit two driver’s licenses. So if your current driver’s license wasn’t issued up to two years ago, but you have an old one that was issued at least two years prior to your application, then you can submit both.
Additional Residency Proof Options
Keep in mind that those driver’s licenses must not have any lapse. So, for example, your old driver’s license must, if it expired October 10th, 2022, then your new one must have been issued at least on October 9th or October 10th, so that there’s no lapse between those licenses.
Then you can also submit your Oklahoma income tax return. So you don’t submit your federal taxes. It has to be the Oklahoma taxes until you submit it for the last two years. So for example, if we’re in 2022 right now, then you would submit your taxes for 2020 and 2021. So that would be at least two years, and then you can supplement it with your driver’s license that is current.
