Breaking Down Outdoor Grow Tiers and Fees
Hello, this is Oklahoma Cannabis Business Attorney Jesse Kovacs with the OK Cannabis Law Office. Today, we’re going to be looking at the different tiers for an outdoor grow. So for an outdoor grow, this is all measured in acres. And if you are between zero to two and a half acres, you’re going to be in the first tier and your application fee is going to be $2,500.
If your operation is between two and a half to five acres, then you’re going to be in the second tier and your application fee is going to be $5,000. Tier three is from five to 10 acres for a $10,000 application fee. Tier four is 10 to 20 acres for a $20,000 application fee. Tier five is 20 to 30 acres for a $30,000 application fee.
Choosing the Right Tier for Your Outdoor Grow Operation
Tier six is 30 to 40 acres for a $40,000 application fee. Tier seven is 40 to 50 acres for a $50,000 application fee. And finally, tier eight is if you have 50 acres or more, and that is going to be a $50,000 application fee plus $250 per each additional acre. It’s important to carefully consider the size of your operation and choose the tier that best fits your needs and budget.
