Submit, Supplement, and Interview
Video Transcribed: What are the current OBN registration requirements for medical marijuana businesses? I am Tulsa medical marijuana business attorney Ope Adegbuyi. The OBN just made new changes to their rules. So before where businesses just needed to apply, now there are more steps.
So currently step one of the application would be for the applicant for a registration to manufacture or cultivate marijuana would have to submit the application form. The second step would be that the applicant would download and complete the supplemental application packet, which contains requests for additional documentation. Then the third step would be upon the timely return of the preceding supplemental application.
So within 30 days of when you fill the application out, the OBNDD will schedule a face-to-face interview with the applicants on the application. So basically every person, every member of the business is the applicant and every member would have to go in for an in-person interview with OBN.
And then the last step would be at the completion of the interview, OBN may grant the application or conduct a further criminal and or administrative investigation. Failure to complete any of the above steps would result in the application being rejected as incomplete.
So now after you finish your application, you have to take the next step and then fill out the supplemental packet and then you have 30 days to submit that supplemental packet to the OBN, and then they will call you in for an interview. Then after the interview, they would decide if they’re going to approve or deny you.
