Today I want to talk to you about your Certificate of Compliance. The Certificate of Compliance, if you’ve been in the industry, you know that you have to do that with your original application, as well as with your renewals.
Well, come November 1st, we’ve got a game-changer and that game-changer is when you do your annual renewals with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority, Certificate of Compliances will not always be required.
And what I mean by not always being required is if you’re just doing a normal renewal, that your business hasn’t had a business address change, you haven’t added on to the size of your business, there’s been no major changes in your business structure or your actual location, then you will not need a Certificate of Compliance when you do your renewal.
That’s major because a lot of you know that some counties and cities and municipalities charge. Charge anywhere from $100 all the way up to $2,500. So that could be a game-changer for your business, especially annually.
So needless to say, that starts November 1st, and it does not apply to new applications for new businesses. You must have a Certificate of Compliance with your application for a new business. And let me … No, I’ll come back and talk about the Certificate of compliance requirements.
So anyway, it’s a game-changer. So have a wonderful day and you’re more than welcome to reach out to our office at (918) 932-2800 if you need assistance, or if you’ve got some questions you need to be answered. Talk to you soon. Bye.
