Oklahoma Citizens Have a Change to Vote in Favor of Question 820
Video Transcribed: Breaking news regarding State Question 820. I am Ope Adegbuyi, a medical marijuana lawyer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Governor Stitt announced that State Question 820 is going to be placed on a special election ballot on March 7th, 2023.
This means that Oklahoma citizens have the right to vote on that ballot. If more than half of the people vote yes on that ballot, that means 51% vote yes, then recreational marijuana is going to be passed and legalized 90 days after that bill is passed or ballots are passed. This means that if you’re 21 and above, you can purchase marijuana from any adult-use dispensary.
On the other side of that, if you are a business, you can get a license for an adult-use dispensary, a new license for adult-use processing, a new license for adult-use transporter, and a new license for an adult-use grill. So there are many opportunities with recreational marijuana coming in or being passed.
