What Information Do Processors Need to Provide?
Hi, this is Oklahoma Cannabis Business Attorney Jesse Kovach and today we’re going to be asking if I’m a processor what sort of information do I need to provide to OMMA on a monthly basis. As you may know, if you’re a grower, a processor, or a dispensary you’re required to submit monthly reports to OMMA on the 15th of every month for the preceding month.
Now if you are a processor, easy for me to say, what you need to report is your amount purchased in pounds, your amount sold or transferred in pounds, your amount manufactured or processed in pounds, and your amount wasted in pounds.
Now if for some reason your amount purchased is greater than your amount sold or in present inventory, OMMA is going to want a written detailed explanation for why that is. And OMMA might also deem other information necessary just to ensure that there is no product going missing essentially, that there’s no funny business going on.
Complying with Reporting Requirements
The best way to comply with these requirements is to simply input all of this information through the Oklahoma State Inventory Tracking System metric and that way you’ll be always up to date with your monthly reports.
